	Step 21: Using the Draw tool, identify the major nerves of the leg and trace their paths: Femoral nerve Sciatic nerve And the three branches of the sciatic nerve: Sural nerve Common fibular nerve, which branches into the superfical and deep fibular nerves Tibial nerve, which branches into the medial and lateral plantar nerves

Each of the branches of the sciatic nerve serve a different compartment of the leg. Can you name the compartment served by the:
	Superficial fibrular nerve?
Lateral compartment.
	Deep fibular nerve?
Anterior compartment.
	Tibial nerve?
Posterior compartment.
	What is the function of the sural nerve?
Sensory input from the lower posteriolateral surface of the leg and the lateral side of the foot and little toe.

Remembering the dermatomes of these nerves will help you remember their distribution.
