	View the lacunar ligament. The lacunar ligament runs backward from the inguinal ligament near the pubic tubercle and becomes the pectineal ligament which is also known as Cooper's ligament.
	View the femoral canal. Lateral to the lacunar ligament is the femoral canal. Rotate the cadaver to see this relationship better.

	What is the lateral to medial order of structures in the femoral canal?
N-A-V-E-L: Femoral Nerve, femoral Artery, femoral Vein, Empty space, Lymphatics.

Now add the components of the female pelvis in order to see how these are suspended in the pelvis:

	Add the rectum and sigmoid colon.
	Add the ureters.
	Add the vagina.
	Add the uterus.

	The embryologic gubernaculum becomes the round ligament of the ovary and uterus in females. What does the gubernaculum become in males?
The gubernaculum in males pulls the testis into the scrotum and becomes the attachment point for the testis to the scrotal wall.
