Lab 3: Abdominal and Pelvic Organs

Lesson Objectives:

During this lesson, you will complete the following tasks using both the 3D digital cadaver and the Standardized Patient:

3.1 Identify the major organs of the posterior (retroperitoneal) abdomen and indicate the projection of these organs on the back of the 3D cadaver and the Stanardized Patient.

3.2 Identify the major organs of the abdominal cavity(interperitoneal) and indicate the projection of these organs on the front of the 3D cadaver and the Stanardized Patient.

3.3 Identify the major organs of the pelvis and indicate the projection of these organs on the front of the 3D cadaver and the Stanardized Patient.

3.4 Demonstrate your ability to describe the location of these organs using standard nomenclature.
