Lab 2: Heart and Lung Anatomy

Lesson Objectives:

During this lesson, you will complete the following tasks using both the 3D digital cadaver and the Standardized Patient:

2.1   Trace the flow of blood through the right side of the heart, indicating the internal structures of the atrium and ventricle, the valves and the projection of the valves on the chest wall.

2.2   Trace the flow of blood through the left side of the heart, indicating the internal structures of the atrium and ventricle, the valves and the projection of the valves on the chest wall.

2.3   Identify the lobes of the right and left lungs and the projection of the lungs on the chest wall.
